[Private Collection] My Dove’s Window :: Cathedral Window :: Fleur de lis

For my Dove. This piece was exhibited at the Tennessee Watercolor Society Exhibit “Creativity Flows!” at the Gordon Jewish Community Center in Nashville, TN, from October 1-29, 2022.

This was painted as part of my private collection using transparent watercolor on Arches Hot Press, 300 g/m² paper.  My Saints fan husband, whom I lovingly call My Dove, and I visited many cathedrals in Europe while on our honeymoon. This specific window presented as the perfect subject to paint as a gift to him, as the design includes the fleur-de-lis.
