- 2 15 oz. cans Crushed Tomatoes
- 4 cups Chicken or Vegetable Broth
- 2 Tbsp. Fresh Basil (may substitute squeeze tube Basil)
- 1 cup Heavy Cream
- 1 stick Unsalted Butter
- 1 Garlic Cloves, minced
- Dash of sugar (optional)
- Combine tomatoes and broth in large pot.
- Simmer 30 minutes.
- Add all other ingredients, while stirring, over low heat.
- Serve with your favorite bread, salad or sandwich. Brian loves this with grilled cheese!
