Ingredients
- 1 tsp. Ground Cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. Ground Nutmeg
- 2 Tbsp. Sugar
- 4 Tbsp. Unsalted Butter
- 4 Eggs
- 1/4 cup Milk
- 1/2 tsp. Vanilla Extract
- 8 slices Brioche, Challah, or Wheat Bread
- Maple Syrup, warmed (optional)
Directions
In a small bowl, combine, cinnamon, nutmeg, and sugar and set aside briefly. Melt butter. Whisk together butter, cinnamon mixture, eggs, milk, and vanilla and pour into a shallow dish. Dip bread slices in egg mixture. Fry on griddle until perfectly golden brown. Serve with warm syrup.
