- 1/2 cup of granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup of brown sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 egg
- 1 1/4 cups of all-purpose flour, sifted
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 4 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
-In a mixing bowl, combined white sugar, brown sugar, melted butter, and salt. Add in the vanilla extract and egg, until silky smooth
-Add in the flour and the baking soda, fold into incorporate, finally fold in the chocolate
-Separate into golf ball sized cookies, then refrigerate for a few hours to a day. The cookies get better and better, the more time you let them sit in the fridge
-When you are ready to bake the cookies, preheat the oven the 350 degrees and line the cookie sheet with parchment paper. place cookies in cookie sheet and bake for 14 minutes, until the edges are slightly golden brown
