Our pickiest little eater loves making these cookies! The recipe is simple enough for a child, skill level and palette (for those who don’t like chocolate).
Ingredients
- 7 Tbsp. Unsalted Butter, softened
- 1/2 cup Sugar
- 1 Egg
- 1 tsp. Vanilla
- 1 cup Self Rising Flour
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Add the butter and sugar to a bowl and mix together with a hand mixer. Add the egg and vanilla. Mix until combined. Mix in the flour with a spoon. Place balls of the dough on a parchment paper lined baking sheet. Bake for 12 to 14 minutes. They are ready to come out of the oven when the cookie edges are barely turning golden in color.
