Brian’s “Mother’s Day” French Toast

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp. Ground Cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. Ground Nutmeg
  • 2 Tbsp. Sugar
  • 4 Tbsp. Unsalted Butter
  • 4 Eggs
  • 1/4 cup Milk
  • 1/2 tsp. Vanilla Extract
  • 8 slices Brioche, Challah, or Wheat Bread
  • Maple Syrup, warmed (optional)

Directions

In a small bowl, combine, cinnamon, nutmeg, and sugar and set aside briefly. Melt butter. Whisk together butter, cinnamon mixture, eggs, milk, and vanilla and pour into a shallow dish. Dip bread slices in egg mixture. Fry on griddle until perfectly golden brown. Serve with warm syrup.
