This is a great “adult” version of noodle night.
Ingredients
- 2 heads of Garlic
- 1/2 cup Olive Oil
- 1 box Angel Hair Pasta
- 2 large Lemons, juiced and zested
- Salt, to taste
- 1/4+ teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes
- Parmesan Cheese, freshly grated (optional)
- Pine Nuts, toasted (optional)
Preparation
Place peeled garlic and olive oil in an oven safe dish. Cover with aluminum foil and bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes. Cool and mash into a paste. Add lemon juice, zest, salt, and red pepper flakes to make noodle “sauce”.
Cook pasta as directed on the package. Once cooked, toss the pasta in the lemon garlic sauce. Once plated, top with parmesan cheese and/or pine nuts. Serve immediately.
